Your support matters to HBC: Donate now to the HBC Conference Fund!

The Harvard Buddhist Community at Harvard Divinity School is pleased to announce that the second annual Buddhism and Race Conference will be held Friday, April 22nd through Saturday, April 23rd, 2016. We need your help to make this happen. This Conference is a unique opportunity to highlight your commitment to social change and justice, and we want to invite you to get involved.

The Buddhism and Race Conference started last year as a forum to address issues surrounding race and racism within the Buddhist community. This year we’re bringing together activists, sangha leaders, community members, counselors and licensed clinicians, and students with a focus on transformative tools we can use in our sanghas. By donating , you can put your or your organization’s values into action.

Contributions of any size, from $5 up, will also help us defray the costs of transportation for speakers, room rental and A/V, snacks and coffee for participants, advertising, and printing. HBC and the conference run entirely on volunteer, student work. Without your financial support, this conference cannot happen.

No contribution is too little–or too big!

Visit our donations page on PayPal to donate now.
Your support for this conference will bring justice-oriented teachings and training together in one place and help your sangha connect with other leaders and communities who are committed to addressing racism from a Dharma-based perspective. Sponsorship in particular is a way to bring your sangha’s involvement in racial justice and healing work to broader audience.

Once again, our PayPal page for donations is here.

Thank you!

All donations to HBC are tax-deductible.
